One of the highlights of the last week of Dec 09 is times I’ve spent with friends.

Dinners/Lunches, tea and cake, walks, chatting on the phone.

Each time is different. Sometimes we spend the time laughing and joking around, other times we talk about God and what we are learning or struggling with Him, and sometimes it’s just a chance to offload, to talk about work stress, pressures at home, personal struggles.

Memories, jokes, past hopes, current hopes and future hopes. It’s one of the blessings of old friendships, enduring friendships. You walk through different seasons together.

Jesus said He came that we may have life to the full (John 10:10), and I really see friendships as part of that fullness. The joy, support, fun, richness, encouragement, laughs, prayer, love, wisdom, and “refreshing” that friends bring into our lives.

I can’t imagine life without friendships and am SO thankful to God for each and every one of you.

May the LORD continue to hold us in the palm of HIS hands and grow us together till the very end!
