I remember 6 years ago, my very first cell leader mentioned about the "Porcupine Theory".

At that time, i could not understand why would anyone have misunderstandings or grievances about anyone.
(Was probably living in my mountain/castle all these while! :D )

He mentioned that humans are like porcupines. The closer you stand to each other, the more pricky it gets. The only way to avoid being poked is by ignoring the prickles and talk to the pourcupine underneath!

How apt is this theory in today's workplace.

Our gut reaction is usually to try and deal with the spikes.

It's just so amazing that GOD already knew Man's shortcomings and forewarned us!

My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry,
James 1:19

Better a patient man than a warrior, a man who controls his temper than one who takes a city.
Proverbs 16:32

[How true, that over time the bristles will lay flat and the spikiest people become your greatest allies!]

Brothers, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it.
James 4:11

The LORD words are indeed sharper than a double edged sword.

For i have tasted it goodness, i pray that the Lord's words will continue guide my life and lead me so that i can be the free-spirited blameless child of GOD! =)

knowing the Lord's protection is over me is sufficient.
